Amy has gone above and beyond for both of our doxies after they came down with varying degrees of IVDD. She has been a great addition to our vet care team. Amy is prompt, compassionate and so knowledgeable. She has a clear love of animals. Sadie(grade 5 IVDD) improved leaps and bounds with Amy’s help. Amy always kept us positive and was honest in her recommendations for further treatments. Amy not only performed therapy at our home, she also provided us with exercises to use in between sessions and even assisted with the fitting and use of wheels for Sadie. We felt a sense of relief knowing where to turn when our younger doxie, Jax had an IVDD episode. We are so grateful for Amy and will not hesitate to return to her if the need arises in the future. Highly recommended! ~ Christina A
We engaged In Pawsuit after a 5 star recommendation from our friends. Their 15 year old dog was rehabilitated by In Pawsuit after suffering an ACL/CCL tear. An evaluation took place on our pup and a very detailed specific four page report was written and delivered to us. The recommendation was that surgery might be required and physical therapy without surgery may not help in the long run. We got a second opinion from another vet in the area. After more testing and xrays, he confirmed the same findings that had been written in the report. Our pup had surgery and is now on the road to recovery. Thanks to In Pawsuit for the thorough evaluation and report write up (and surgeon recommendation). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amy to anyone seeking help for their pup. ~ Mark F
Last summer after a visit to our Vet we were afraid that they might want to put our 13 year old Husky Zoey. The vet did say we might want to look at physical therapy for her as an alternative. After looking and talking to different canine physical therapist we found Amy and she was a godsent. She was able to show us differents excercises and stretches along with laser therapy that helped increase Zoey's mobility in her hips and strengthen her hamstrings. This helped Zoey get her "zoomies" back, go on further walks, play more, and received compliments from the Vets on the improvement of her quality of life. Amy was very easy to work with to schedule appointments and is great with dealing with Zoey. The best part was that Amy would follow up on her even though she no longer needed an appointment. ~ Russ C
Dr. A and Amy we’re instrumental in helping my little ole pup recover from he’s major back surgery. He was fully paralyzed and is now back to 95% normal function! Dr. A was so gentle in performing acupuncture and I believe it had an immediate positive impact on how my dog was feeling. Following 2 sessions of acupuncture, Amy assessed his progress through physical therapy and had him moving better in no time. Amy has a special way with the animals so my timid little guy was willing to do the work and rehab quickly. I highly recommend this group if you want to see your special pet be the best version of themself following a major surgery. Thank you Pawsuit Canine Rehabilitation team!! ~ DeAnna H
Dr. Amy, Thank you so much for making Maggie's recovery smooth and quick. You provided so much more information than our vet or the surgeon. The exercises you gave us as homework helped so much and Maggie even began to ask for them by coming up and nudging us if we didn't do them on time. You explained everything and answered all our questions. Thank you for giving us our playful dog back. It's been a long road and we are so glad to have found you. We recommend you to anyone having pain/recovery issues with their pet. You provide a wonderful service for animals and humans. We really appreciate all you did for our family. Cindy & Eric (Maggie's parents) ~ Cynthia E
Our 6 year old Havenese Bailey suddenly developed difficulty in walking which quickly progressed into almost total immobility. After discussing our options we decided on starting with acupuncture and met Dr A. This enabled him to temporarily show signs of improvement but then he started to regress and with her support and direction we saw a neurologist, had a scan, and quickly taken into surgery for a compressed cervical disc. Thank you Dr A. Then came post op rehab and Dr Amy for physical therapy. All we can say is thank you both for your compassion and your expertise. Baileys picture taken today say it all ~ Douglas C
I have an English Mastiff that weighs nearly 180 lbs. She suffered a stroke last week. I was fortunate to have been given this company’s information. I was looking for an inpatient rehab type facility because there was no way I was able to transport my Mastiff for rehab. This option apparently does not exist. Amy is a mobile pet physical therapist. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. In just just 5 visits, my Zoe girl went from basically a lame duck to being able to stand and she’s trying to walk. Amy Is a kind person who truly wants to make a difference in your pet’s life. I would highly recommend mobile pet therapy with Amy. ~ K M
Amy provides exceptional knowledge regarding animal rehabilitation. With every session, our dog improved. Not only did she save us thousands of dollars, she genuinely cares about her clients. You can record the sessions, text/email with any questions/concerns, and are comforted by the fact your pet is in good hands. I would have no hesitation recommending Amy to others, and reaching out in the future if we need additional care. We cannot thank you enough for your outstanding care of Aegon. ~ J G
I was looking for someone that could come to my home for rehab for my Cali who is 13 year old Morkie. She has previously in the past had back and neck surgery and recently herniated two disc in her neck and two in her back. She was put on Steroids and Pain meds for several weeks along with laser treatments. It was suggested by her Neurologist that rehab would be very beneficial for her recovery. That is how Amy came into our lives which was a game changer. Cali is no longer in pain and off all medications. She can now walk without loosing her balance or falling down. Amy is very patient with Cali and knows just how to get her to do what needs to be done each session and she is fantastic at teaching you what you need to do with your pet until she returns on the next visit. Cali could never have been able to get around pain free and without loosing her balance as quickly as she did without the help from AMY. We love her and will miss her once our rehab is completed. I highly recommend Amy to anyone needing physical therapy rehabilitation for their pet. ~ Chris H
Amy, the physical therapist, was a godsend! She was professional, kind, and got my Pomeranian walking again on all four legs when we were concerned he might not put his back leg down again. Our dog adored her and you could tell she genuinely cared for him! I would 100% recommend this business and would not hesitate to call them again if any of my fur babies need some extra help. I am very grateful and thankful I found this business and would give it more than 5 stars if that was an option. ~ Connie R
Amy was wonderful. Our 7 year old lab/hound mix had to have knee surgery. I was very nervous and stressed about the procedure, Amy helped explain what to expect which relieved my anxiety. Once Pepper received medical clearance, Amy started the rehabilitation showing me exercises and instructions for Pepper's best care. The results were wonderful and 3 months after the surgery people will comment that there is no indication that Pepper had even had surgery. ~ Noel W
Our dog Scooter is 10 years old and only has 3 legs. We wanted to help balance him out by strengthening his back leg that is a bit weaker and give him some trouble, as well as helping with his mobility to make him more comfortable. He did rehab and acupuncture with In Pawsuit. They were so great with him. So patience and helpful. Scooter loved Amy and Dr A and would get so excited when they would walk through the door! We appreciate how great both of them were with Scooter! ~ Melanie L
In April my French bulldog was diagnosed with IVDD and could not use her back legs. My husband and I were at a loss for options as we did not want to go the surgical route. My vet suggested acupuncture and physical therapy as a last resort. We were skeptical going into our first session and I am so happy to say we were dead wrong. After one acupuncture session, our girl was back up to standing (for short periods of time) and using the bathroom. After a mix of acupuncture and PT she was able to walk (slowly). Now, we are 6 months down the road and you would never know she was at one point paralyzed. She is back to 1.5 mile walks (with cooler weather) and our happy, spunky girl. I could not be more happy that we were introduced to In Pawsuit! Dr. A and Amy are truly, in our case, life savers. They have been in constant contact, they are responsive and they personalized our treatment plan to our needs. It has been such a delight to work with them through such a scary time in our pet parenthood. We are also thankful to have found a non-surgical solution that saved us recovery, vet bills and headache. ~ Danielle A
Amy is a godsend and an angel all in one. My pup Bella (5 pound tea cup Maltese) tore her CCL and had surgery and then she tore it again and had a second surgery and that one failed. Her little hind leg is stuck in a straight position forever. During all this, she tore her other CCL and had to have another surgery. It was a very rough and scary time. Bella couldn't walk at all. I had to carry her and hold her up while she went to the bathroom. I was desperate for help. We found Amy through a google search. I was so happy to find someone that would come to our home. Amy started working with Bella right after her third and last surgery. Bella couldn't even stand up. She worked with Bella two times a week. Bella got better and better each week. Amy knows her stuff and is very professional and kind. Bella is now running around like a puppy again (even with her handicap right hind leg!) We have now adopted Amy and have decided Amy will come once a week for life. To help Bella stay healthy and continue to improve. If you can get an appointment with Amy, you will be very blessed to have her help and expertise. ~ Ronda C
Inpawsuit and Amy the canine therapist were incredible! Empathetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated - she worked wonders with our paraplegic dog postoperatively, helping him regain function and importantly, the ability to be a happy dog. After every therapy session it was obvious how happy he was to enjoy making progress towards walking so he could rejoin our other 2 dogs as part of their mini-pack. Thank you Amy - we are so grateful! ~ James R
After our Boxer Max was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy (DM), we were presented with options for physical therapy and acupuncture to continue his quality of life for as long as possible. We chose “In Pawsuit – Canine Rehabilitation and Wellness” and we are so grateful that we did! The one thing that we liked best, before we even met them, was the fact that they come to your home, which makes it so much easier and comfortable for us – and for Max. During these home visits, Dr. Amy Rogato showed us physical therapy exercises and massage techniques that we could do every day with Max to maintain his mobility as the disease progressed. “Dr. A” (Dr. Rachel Almengual) brought us her expertise as a Veterinary Certified Acupuncture Therapist and performed acupuncture on Max – which he loves. They also provided recommendations for the best supplements, food, and medication that would keep Max feeling his best. As the disease has progressed, “In Pawsuit” has loaned us a special canine wheelchair for Max to get around in. Max is such a happy boy and is still loving life, thanks to Dr. Amy and Dr. A. We highly recommend them to any dog owner in need of these services! ~ Debra O
Amy was very patient and gentle with my 15-year old dog, Star. She identified that her pain was mostly coming from her back and not her knee. She took her time to show me ways to help Star build muscle coordination and strength and answer any questions I had. I really appreciated the follow up texts I received after my initial visit. Highly recommend. ~ Heather B
Lola and i love Amy so so so much! She has helped my girlie so much with multiple issues with her shoulder, ankle, knees and hips! Lola can have a normal life with minimal medication at her current age of 4. She is always on time, Bobbie gives reminders before each appointment as well! My girlie can continue to live her best life with her ball because of Amy! ~ Summer V
Our 11-1/2 year old Dane/shepherd mix was having trouble getting up because his hind quarters are so weak. Amy has been using a strengthening and coordination exercises combined with laser therapy and e stim. She taught us which exercises we should have Doobie perform. Doobie has made remarkable improvement! Amy is awesome.! And .... Doobie love visits from the treat lady! ~ Kim F
Our six year old labradoodle, Sullivan, had severe hip dysplasia. We opted with FHO which decreased his discomfort but left him needing rehab for months. Amy Rogato has been treating Sullivan since March. Thanks to Amy’s help he is doing fantastic! Amy is both personal and professional. I would absolutely recommend her for any pet rehabilitation needs. ~ Tom P
My poor pup has been dealing with spinal issues causing him to have a difficult time walking. Amy has been so incredibly helpful, from working with my pup through physical therapy, to showing me how to do his exercises at home and helping me get him properly fitted in his wheelchair. Amy is truly incredible and I would recommend her to anyone! ~ Tayler M
Amy and Dr A. are AMAZING! Our Doberman, Brandi, had surgery for a ruptured disc 12/30/22. She was immobile after the surgery. At her 2 week post surgery follow up the vet recommended physical therapy. Brandi weighs roughly 95 lbs. She was difficult to lift without help. My sister and I didn't want to hurt her or slow her recovery by lifting and loading her in and out of a car every week. I searched for mobile Physical Therapist and found these ANGELS at In Pawsuit!! Amy was quick to respond and got us scheduled for a consultation the following week. Dr A. started with acupuncture, then Amy started PT. Amy taught us excersizes to work on with Brandi in between visits. Bobbie kept us on track with appointment reminder texts. Within 2-3 weeks, they had Brandi back on her feet and she's getting stronger every day! They are super friendly, genuinely care about Brandi, and are passionate about what they do. We all look forward to their visits. 😊 I am so happy we found In Pawsuit. They made what I thought was going to be a long and difficult recovery process easy. If your dog needs physical therapy, STOP SEARCHING AND CALL THEM! Thank you Amy, Dr A and Bobbie. Thank you for taking care of our fur-sister. ❤️ ~ Erin M
My dog, Bella is an English retriever. She lives Amy Rogato! She came to my house after she had a TPLO surgery. Tibia and cranial cruciate ligament surgery. It was so much easier on Bella to have her come to my house. Too difficult to get her into the car. I highly recommend Amy! Bella is doing incredibly well! Very happy with Amy! She’s the best! ~ Rob G
